Grey Talon is a very oppressive laner, so put the first 3 skill points into Charged Shot (1) to harass the enemy frequently. Start with Extra Charge and Headshot Booster for maximum poke. If ahead, add Mystic Burst and Extra Spirit. Finish with Enduring Spirit and Hollow Point Ward to round out spirit, weapon, and vitality stats. Focus on harassing and reaching your ultimate quickly.

Mid Game
Aim to get Improved Cooldown when unlocking the ultimate to reduce its downtime. Use the minimap to find enemies in execute range for your ultimate and gain stacks quickly. Stay in lane, farm waves and neutral camps to build Enchanter’s Barrier and Improved Spirit for a power spike, cooldown reduction, and survivability. If close-range combat is frequent, add Mystic Shot and Slowing Bullets. Upgrade to Improved Burst and Superior Cooldown for increased ultimate uptime and damage.

Late Game
Transition from an ult-focused character to a valuable spirit damage carry by upgrading to Boundless Spirit for increased spirit scaling on Charge Shot. Add Rapid Recharge for more arrows and reduced shot intervals. If the game continues, consider Mystic Reverb or Diviner's Kevlar; Kevlar for survivability, Reverb for more damage.
